VET’s CLIL 3rd Partner Meeting in Seinäjoki

VET’s CLIL project partners met in Seinäjoki on 13-14 November 2019 for a third transnational meeting within this Erasmus+ KA2 project, coordinated by Provinciaal Onderwijs Vlaanderen (POV). The objective is to produce a Massive Open Online Course (MOOC) in English to help VET teachers introduce this method in their classes and create a community of CLIL (Content and Language Integrated Learning) professionals to boost its use.
Discussions revolved around setting the agenda for next year and testing the MOOC, which is being developed by Catalonia’s Education Department and POV. Indeed, clearly stating what the CLIL methodology implies and how it can be implemented in vocational education and training (VET) is one of the key aspects that was touched upon during the meeting. Further developments will continue in the following months.
Next meeting will take place in Barcelona in spring 2020, during which a multiplier event will be organised by Catalonia’s Education Department and EARLALL to disseminate the project’s outputs and raise awareness about the CLIL methodology among VET teachers and practitioners.
