EARLALL Academy #7: Communication and Dissemination

15/02/2024

On February 15, 2024, the EARLALL secretariat organised the EARLALL Academy session on Communication and Dissemination. The Academy has been launched to best fulfil EARLALL’s ambitious work plan and to continue to support its members in their capacity-building at the local and regional level of lifelong learning. In each MasterClass, we will invite a new speaker to give an in-depth lesson on transversal themes and topics pertinent to the whole network. The online classes will be learning opportunities tailor-made for the needs of EARLALL’s members.

Members were asked in advance to share their preferences for the workshop, ensuring the result was tailored to their needs. The presenters were Alicia Gaban, Communications and Project Manager at EARLALL, and Charlotte Ede, Communications and Project Officer. Charlotte Ede began by discussing effective writing and communication styles, in addition to the potential of AI in dissemination and communication. Alicia Gaban presented how to create an EU project communications strategy, and shared tools and information on how to implement certain aspects of it. Alicia shared best practices from two projects in which EARLALL is leading the dissemination work packages: the LCAMP – Learner Centric Advanced Manufacturing Platform – CoVEs project and the TRAILS – Enabling data analytics for actions tackling skills shortages & mismatch Horizon Europe project. She also presented key monitoring and performance indicators for tracking progress in communication efforts.

The MasterClass was an opportunity for EARLALL members to develop their capacity in communication and dissemination.
